Twitterfeed

By User Imagepartickbateman | February 5, 2008

As you all know, I use Twitter fairly heavily to make my daily musings even more banal. As such I’m always on the lookout for new services that plug into it and make the spreading of said banalities even easier.

Hence this post. I found a new service called Twitterfeed, the idea of which is very simple: give it your blog’s RSS URL and it updates Twitter every time you publish a new post.

When you have a readership as low as mine, services like this that allow you to automatically spam friends in vain attempts to increase your traffic stats are fantastic. I’m guessing it would actually work with a lot of personal RSS feeds such as Flickr or tumblr, maybe even Facebook (although it is likely this would cause a rip in the banality continuum such would be it’s mundane force). But I’ll leave those crazy shenanigans for another time - enough excitement for one day.

So, here I am testing it, with this being the inaugural post. Let’s see if it works!
